About My Practice
A Safe Space for Growth
I provide mental health therapy services for Washington state residences and nation-wide consultations for all relationship structures, ages 13 and older.
My practice prioritizes collaborating with our clients to ensure affirming, intersectional, anti-oppressive, and informed therapy. I am committed to evolving to our communities’ needs especially for clients whose identities fall within Queer, Trans, Non-Binary, BIPOC, polyamorous, unique relationship structures, sex workers, and Kink/BDSM communities.
I support clients of all identities, offering intentional guidance for those seeking additional support in exploring gender, sex, sexuality, race, and oppression.
I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Additionally, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Currently I am a professional member with the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists.
Working Together
Empowering You Through Open Communication
Each individual’s journey is distinct, shaped by family, community, societal influences, and personal identity. We are all on our own journeys to achieve our goals. For me, open communication, therapeutic practices, and a commitment to one’s self are keys to a successful journey of progress. I am ready and excited to help you to develop the tools you need on your unique path.
In our current society, we are beginning to address longstanding challenges and inequities, opening scars to facilitate change and healing. While there is a long way to go, we can be comforted in knowing there is a community of support behind us all.
As a healer in modern society, I stay actively involved in my community. Through this engagement, I learn how to be both a voice and an ear (advocate) of support. Social justice is a collective responsibility, and I am dedicated to this goal.
In therapy, I focus on intersectionality, embrace kink and sex-positivity, and affirm BIPOC and LGBTQ+ perspectives, recognizing the uniqueness of our lived experiences.
Approaching Our Sessions
Methods to Support Your Unique Path
I see our time in the therapy room as a collaborative experience. As we approach your goals, I aim to understand you, your history, and your perspective. From this point, I am a facilitator in your journey and the things you would like to accomplish.
I take a direct approach to therapy, asking pointed questions. It’s important to explore the reasons behind our choices while remaining aware of societal influences on our daily lives. I value working with patients who seek a fresh perspective on their experiences and are eager to explore new horizons.
I have a particular interest in relationship and lifestyle queries, especially those related to the LGBTQIA+ community, polyamory, and kink/BDSM. I am passionate about these areas for many reasons and enjoy the diversity of clients I work with. I look forward to helping you achieve your unique goals.
The Path I’ve Walked
As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I have interests in supporting individuals in many ways in therapy especially those navigating LGBTQ+ relationships, polyamorous lifestyles, and kink communities.
I am distinctly familiar with the varied struggles and challenges one may face throughout their life regarding the many unique aspects of living life in a colorful way.
